    "titlies:"

    titlies ??? lol…

    • titlies - movie titles with titties?

  • +2

Meh. From that selection: 6 movies. And even then I was trying hard to add stuff in.

      xmas pressies ?

      • +3

I'd rather give money than a present I did not think was a good fit for a person.

        • I'd rather a crappy Blu-Ray movie as a gift than nothing.

        • +1

To each their own. I'd rather money as then, at least, I don't have to either keep some junk or throw it out. With money I can at least get my own thing that would be of actual use.

  • so how much do these blu-ray titles sell as BNIB on ebay?!?

    • ebay? idk, but you could probably get most for around $9.

  • +3

That Blu-ray player sells at $199 normally at Big W, and the cheapest I can find it for is $189.
    Not bad…

To the haters… Think of it as buying a $169 BluRay player, and getting 10 free DVD's. (But you get a bit of a choice in which movies.)

    • +2

That Blu-ray player is several generation old now, has slow load times is not huge on features i.e. no DLNA network streaming, the player by itself is worth about $80.

You can get the current gen BD75 for $138 http://www.bigw.com.au/electronics/dvd-blu-ray-players/blu-r…

Is a good deal as it comes free with the selection of 10 movies, though the selection is not very big.

      • Yeh, the BD75GN-K comes with a free Avatar (2D) Blu-ray disc too.

  • There's a 2009 review on this model by Cnet, for those who like to know more about the player. I'm not sure if there's been an update since to fix the slow load time.

  • Decent Value

  • so we know how much the player goes for, but what's the cheapest you can buy the 10 movies for? if it's about the same i.e ~$160 it might be worth it

    • +2

Say they are worth an average of $9 a movie Delivered (sourcing from UK and elsewhere)

But take into consideration there are some you would not have bought otherwise

  • -2

Or save your money and not buy overpriced crap, then buy a much better player (or not!) with the savings.

    You know what I mean.

  • Does anyone know if this player can play 1080i over component from a blu ray movie?

I have an older plasma (Pioneer) and need to find a player that was made before 2011 because they don't have the restriction on playing 1080i content over component.

Just signed up to Ozbargain now after using it for many many months!

    Hey all!

Sorry accidently double posted, browser went nuts!

  • +1

Bought one, Total $163.20 Delivered, player for the 'rents blrys for me

  • Is this instore aswell as online?

  • Decent deal, some half decent movies, I'd probably grab the full x-men lot and a few others.

  • +3

This might be a sign of what's more to come as we come closer to Xmas. I'm sitting tight.

    • +1

      Agree.

  • Pretty good deal. I grabbed it as a 2nd player for the bedroom.

  • +1

Maybe it refers to specific movies titles that are titilating.

  • Postage for me is $26.02, not $4.00.

  • +1

If the dvd's are still sealed by Bigw you can return them without a receipt as long as you show ID. whatever they scan at you get a gift voucher to spend instore.Dont return all 10 at once though….Just a thought

    • +2

Or you can exchange for another at Sanity at their ticketed prices. They have a no questions/receipt policy for exchanges (opened or sealed)

      • Wow. Never knew that. Good way to get rid of the crappy xmas dvds.

    • I think that's for home brand products only. But give it a go anyway and let us know!

    • If you try that, the person serving you will most likely have to call the store manager and he will decide as its on a case by case basis without a receipt.

    • Or just sell these ones @$10 a piece

  • Or sell all of it and nab yourself a nice PS3 (3D blu-ray player) :D

  • Eh, I'm only gonna buy 1 blu-ray player & I would want it to be perfect.
IMO you're better off getting a different $80-$100 bluray player which isn't "slow", and spend the other $60 on 2 or 3 of your favourite movies on blu-ray.

  • so very crap shipping service! i ordered nov 17, then only dispatched last 21st of November and until now not yet receive this item! No Good!
