Well if you had to buy prime for $7 to get it then it was $53 so this is cheaper than that in a way?
Yea but prime offer a 30 day free trial so really you shouldn't of needed to pay.
True but some people have already used the free trial (like myself)
I can't believe people keep referring to this as a "good game". It's absolute trash.
Was really tempted on $47 price mark, but I passed. I don’t want to support Game freak, given their lack of commitment
I bought it on release and couldn't be motivated to finish it. It's just a process of pressing the A button. Gen 1 had way more depth. These ones are just a money grab.
How could it be different? Are you sure it's not just nostalgia?
@justtoreply: Have you played them? It's night and day.
@bulldoglikeapproach: No I'm deciding if I should buy sword/shield
@justtoreply: It's up to you, but if you're looking for a challenge I'd look elsewhere. I was seriously one-shotting gym leaders without even trying to level up my party. There's no point strategizing with type advantage or physical/special moves and so on, so there's no depth to the game. You'll just breeze through it and there's no replay value imo.
It was $47 the last 2 days so not the cheapest its been
