Seems eb games have bumped a heap of people up to launch day.

They sending sms and emails but they taking time

Check your eb world and see if your order is launch shipment now.

Had three friends go from post launch to launch day.

Update 15/10
Some PS5 customers who were bumped up are now being bumped back to their original dates.
Has not affected any Xbox orders that were bumped (yet)

Update 2 15/10
Confirmed: Xbox orders are not affected by the error and any Xbox order brought forward is correct.

      Trade-in credit from games and a PS3 set against my launch day Xbox Series X isn't showing online for me, but it does in-store.

    Would anyone here happen to see an answer for/or know if you can claim the console trade in deal with a different EB Games account?

    Order was purchased on a level 1 account but I have a family member that is level 4.

    Hi yes I recieved a email and sms telling me to squeel with excitement lol. Lucky me it was showing December 30 for me. Which is awesome cause I had launch day ps5 at jb hifi and forgot to pay lol. Now I lost that order. Sadly I bought it for my brother

    I wish. I have a EB preorder for PS5 which says December 2021, and a Telstra series x preorder which also says 2021. Though Telstra probably have the special arrangement to boost their day 1 numbers, considering each console potentially brings in three years of Gamepass at full price.

      That's odd. Telstra are still selling the Series X All Access at Wave 2. That's 9 December 2020?

        Well maybe it does say 2020. I just guessed, I can't ever be bothered signing in to check. The PS5 preorder does say Dec 2021 for sure though.

    Both my X and S order got bumped to launch day.

    I was frantically rushing to order either and in the end I ordered both without realizing the S had gone through. I have spent a while prior and a while after trying real hard to decide which one I want. Just yesterday I was meant to ring EB and cancel one of them but I still didn't know which.

    Anyway, I think I'm leaning toward the X. So the point is,

    If anyone nearby the Chirnside Park / Ringwood area is after a launch day Xbox Series S let me know, I've got the $200 down, if y'all wanna toss me the 200 bones I'll toss you the order deets. Otherwise I'll probs cancel it sometime in the near future.

    OK kids here is the bad news, anyone in VIC due to stage 4 conditions, I rang my store today and they were quick to let me know no trade ins will be happening, only pick ups.
    There is no confirmation of honoring trade ins either so people don't get too excited about being able to offset with a trade in if this info is true.

      Yeah I suspect many are going to have to go the private sale route to try and offset the cost.
      I recently had a birthday and got a heap of money towards my consoles (getting both) so am going the private sale route for this reason.

        It's a hard pill to swallow as there seems to be a lot of them on eBay atm but as auctions.
        I think some are by bots as I see 0 feedback sellers too.
        I'll try organize something so I can get out of the X1 and into a SX without too much of a change over.

    Lol what a load a shit. I get an email and sms yesterday saying we have a day 1 launch console. Today they send out one saying whoops we made a mistake. You don't have a day 1 console. This will be the last thing I order from this business. Not happy.

          Looks like it’s PS5 only.

          Xbox customers appear to be staying advanced in the queue.

          Seems a tech glitch sent it to PS5 when it was not intended or something.

                  @[Deactivated]: Agree, I know there is a lot of hate around for EB, but i have always gone to them first
                  Price Match if i can and if not go elsewhere.

                  Having a dedicated games store is good for the industry and in keeping prices down.
                  Also the guys who work in the stores usually a gamer's and love gaming :) so its a fun place to go.

                    @jimbobaus: I feel bad for the staff, they're human and it's not their fault what head office does.
                    I used to work in the games industry b4 EB was a thing. It was fun talking to fellow gamers and pro tipping (just the tip) on how to beat levels etc, now days it's yeah yeah this game is good, buy it, someone behind you I need to serve now.

                    I seriously feel bad for them.

                    @jimbobaus: I love Eb games the staff are super awesome, are happy to play games with you on console or Pc. sadly there prices are a rip off usually which is a shame as i love there stores. If they were more competitive i would shop there more often.
