Summer is coming, wfh and I want a small quiet desk fan that blows air gently to my face. By small I mean about 6 inches diameter. I think USB powered will be nice as I have a spare power bank to run, instead of AC mains power. Must be quiet, I am willing to pay a bit more for quietness.
Anybody got suggestion, can but from Amazon or Ebay.
imo, small desk fans are loud and don't blow enough air. I'd rather prefer a larger stand up fan with variable speeds to keep cool.
Only if you buy cheap and expect it to be good.
This one is pretty good. Completely silent and 2 fan modes with decent airflow. Out of stock at AU store at the moment but will come back.

I have an Arctic Breeze USB fan. Had it for almost 7 years now, comes out every summer, and always works without any problem. It's pretty much silent, and pretty awesome. It doesn't feel like it will keep you cool, but it does. Being a small diameter (about 6cm) its focus would be pretty narrow close up. But even at arms length you get a good gentle breeze that will have you thinking about turning it off after a couple of hours.
Xiaomi Eco Portable fan is pretty good. Wireless and rechargable via USB-C. Pretty expensive though.
