I used the ShopBack app to make my purchase, as in the app itself. "Debra" from ShopBack basically says the seller has rejected it, too bad so sad. Have the screenshots and everything.
Just had another Groupon one last week where I used the plugin and it popped up the Congratulations your purchase was tracked banner, and it didn't even come up in my cashback history. No doubt they'll find some reason to reject it too.
I've been so glad with most Amazon purchases in Prime Day having no cashback. I can finally just purchase without setting reminders in my phone to report a missed cashback in a week. Only to get automated emails explaining all the things you must have done wrong, even though you have done this many times. And you finally get accepted or rejected and think..wow…that was worth $2.20. Ahhh the good old days where you just buy something and forget about it…You think when the only business model is to track cashback, they would be better at it. Both Cashrewards and Shopback are heavily flawed. I used to tell people about them…now I tell people to avoid them!
Sorry for the rant..In actual response to your question, yes they will manually add it but will probably just tell you that Ebay/Amazon denied the transaction/click history. And that's it…Ive honestly had much easier and better correspondence with Cashrewards in regards to missing Cashback.
Definitely contact support. They fixed up one of my missing cashbacks via email :)
