  • Where are you seeing that price OP?

    • It's a Prime exclusive deal.
I can see it in the app

      • I can see it on a desktop browser

        • odd can see all the other prime deals, this one just shows regular price but looks like its just me.

    • click into it and the price changes

Initially I thought this was a GREAT deal but prices for large mousepads have come down quite a bit, what you pay is for the rgb on black

Corsair have a gigantic mouse pad (non-rgb) for a similar price for prime day at $55.

Steelseries have a thicc and slightly wider one (non-rgb) for a similar price at $58

Razer have their older version (non-rgb) at a bargain price of $18

Tbh if you really want the rgb and a solid edge, its still a decent deal but you will still pay a premium for it

Why compare apples with oranges and then call it not a great deal?

      • Less apples to oranges than oranges to blood oranges, you pay around $40 for that upgrade in appearance only, rgb on a mousepad is like pockets on a dress, its pretty good to have but should you pay double-triple for the privilege?

I was merely showing alternatives that have other benefits such as one being literally three times the size for a similar price.

I'm sure everyone is well aware what RGB is and of course you don't specifically need an RGB mouse pad to move your mouse on. People just want RGB and are willing to pay for it pure and simple. So no point comparing a non rgb mouse pad and pointing out the cost difference because this is obvious to everyone.

          • @Dream-cast: I pointed that out in the initial point and conclusion to my assessment. And merely provided alternatives if you didn't need RGB.
I also mentioned why I was comparing it to other mousepads, as the price premium for RGB lowers it's bargain deal eligibility. If you think it's a great deal you are free to your opinion and could help OP AND upvote.

In the end it is just an opinion on the difference between a GREAT deal and a decent one

            • @MilkDrinker: Again, it's just not the same. It doesn't lower its bargain deal eligibility at all because you're not comparing the same thing. For people looking for RGB they're not going to buy your $18 suggestion because it doesn't have RGB!

              • @Dream-cast: I respectfully disagree, if I have to pay a premium of ~$40 to get rgb on a mousepad I would say that the deal isnt fantastic or GREAT.

As I initially said, its a "decent" deal for an RGB mousepad.

Perhaps if I only had to pay $40-$50 for it I would classify it as GREAT.

Would love it if you could give the OP some love and upvote it.
