so true they either work or they don't, ours work, some fall apart and others don't ours don't due to superb build quality, some like to purchase a range of items not just one cable too, some like to exchange due to wrong item ordered, some like advise, yeah the list is endless but then again been doing this for 5 years now.

They're 1.4a cables, so that's an upside. The cheapest cable is $15.95, take off the 12.5% discount makes it $13.96. But then there's shipping, cheapest is $9…..plus 90c GST! All up $23.86. Not a bargain.
guys, this is not monster cable which can sell for $100 for 2m. these aren't as cheap or cheerful as some cables, but they are good and value for money. the folks over at dtvforum.info will tell you.
not a bargain for one single quality cable, our average order is far greater and most want them quick, snail mail can take too long to other states by road and has no tracking No., so when its lost in mail what do you tell customer, pay again, no thanks.

I sincerely hope searchers do come here to see how negative some can be without ever seeing or using the products:) one needs to compare apples with apples.

triple outer cable casing layers 1.4 - 66 bux, really not too bad… for a higher quality cable…anyone got something simular specced for much cheaper?

on the other hand, your HDMI switches can be had for about a third of the price on ebay, just bought the exact same one for 13 bux, they are almost 39 on your site! (think they where even cheaper on other sites like buy coin etc)
fair enough, had no idea had to show why the discount, and link to site is not allowed?, first time here, discount simple really, same quality and better pricing. Sorry, I don't compare with other HDMI dealers they don't either. Plenty of others charge similar to us, yes we are in OZ not HK, do pay all our taxes, and offer warranty or offer exchange, did i mention something about apples.

So I think its a case of assuming some readers of your deal will have no idea what makes your products worthwhile to buy.
Its a case of tailoring the message.

welcome to OZB, the general rule of thumb before posting is make sure you cable is the cheapest availible, checking sites like shopbot or staticice before posting usually yeild good results…
other than that, its fine to have % off if they are the cheapest, you will need to provide an example and link directly to the deal.
people here are looking for great bargains not just a good deal after all the site is called ozbargain, not ozdeal…thanks for trying dont let others deture you.
man we as ozbargainers need to stop giving reps such a hard time, think we need to give them suggestions on what they could do to improve there deal, rather than saying just "CRAP"!
