Very good price for a quality entry level automatic. Usually not this low price. Would recommend swapping out the strap for a better one.

geez i got lucky then. I had a countdown timer of 20 secs left at the checkout haha

          • @lknight: That might have been your stock timer or the javascript was a bit funny, good work in securing one, i've got green eyes :D

Thank you, my very first Seiko watch. Hope its good.

    • Same here. Sent the deal to one of my friends who is into watches and all I got back was "cop".

The deal was 100% claimed by that point, but dropped to 98% so I was able to snag one, so thank you, OP.

    • Seikos are great and there's a lot of compatibility for mods. I'm a bit annoyed that the crown is loose on mine.

This was one of my first automatic watches, and probably my most worn. Definitely recommend changing the strap, it feels a bit cheap (as it should at this price).

This is a great start to any collection, or a worthy addition.

    • thanks mate. any recommendation on where I can find decent leather straps?

      • There's heaps on Amazon as well, just read the reviews to make sure they're quality. I think it's an 18mm strap you're after.

      • I highly recommend the 18mm forest green leather from Graft Supply for $15. They sell through an eBay store. Much better than the cheap stuff on Amazon/AliExpress.

I've got one I can post to you free if you like - it's used, but in pretty good condition. PM me if you are interested.

      • Unable to PM you as it tells me โ€œUser itsHughesy does not accept new conversations.โ€

Did you want to PM me if you can?

to small, perfect for women and guys with girlie wrists.

    • -2

You must be one of those guys who prefers an oversized 50mm watch on their wrist because of poor eyesight.

      totally understand.

      • -4

Nope, I dislike that too. my Rolex is 41mm and my Omega is 42, I think these are good sizes. My eyesight is fine, I don't wear eyeglasses or contacts. what size is your digital Casio watch?

        • Lol

        • -3

I'm not sure about you but dont buy bigger sized watches to compensate the loss of something smaller.

sounds like you have been compensating a lot to make up for something.

          Kudos to you.

          • -1

@SpeedRunnerLink: no compensation needed silly, that is why I need a bigger watch. big wrist, big shoes, etc… I match big with big.

not like you, small wrist, small shoes, small watch, etc… you match tiny with tiny.

            • @Hugh G Rection: recieved mine today and wow it is small. I dont have a large wrist per se and I feel its tiny! looks like a womens watch than a MAN's watch. I guess its my own fault for not knowing how big is 37 mm! I've taken off the tags, would Amazon accept it back for a refund?

              • @lknight: If you give it a week on wrist, you will get over the smaller size. It's a very comfy watch to wear and easy to tell the time at a glance.

                • @lesterfreamon: ive come from wearing a big smartwatch and no way i can see the time comfortablly without looking close enuf, could be my eyesight lol
                  thanks anyhow.
