This is the only Prime Day alcohol deal on spirits that I could find where Dan Murphy's hasn't already matched or beaten it by 5¢ or so. Price there is currently $62.

The main advantage of buying from Amazon is to take advantage of free delivery whereas Dan will charge you for it (or course, click & collect is still free).

Edit: it's now showing $59.99 + $5 delivery so presumably it's out of stock. But, if you click the link below the description for 'New (4) from $59.90' you'll see you can still order from Amazon and they'll ship it later.

I am a big fan of the starward nova, don't mind the lack of age statement, it's great.

Can't vouch for this drop specifically, but I am optimistic regarding starwards other offerings.

PS for anyone interested in recommends

The starward nova at $90 is a red wine cask finish, leaving a pleasant dry tannin sensation on the palate.

The Ailsa bay at $91 is a smokey and powerful dram, which shows its youth compared to something like the lagavulin 16, but it is an interesting "whisky by numbers, whisky by science" approached to peated whisky which may interest some of the more experiences Islay lovers looking to try something new.

  • Plus you get 7.5% cashback with cashrewards on the pre-GST amount.

  • Starward make good whiskey.

No age statement, and it doesn't need to be aged as long as a Scotch, due to the Australian climate.

I did a distillery tour a couple of years ago and came home with a cask strength bottle of their Solera. Very nice sherry cask style whiskey. Comparable to Balvenie 12 or Aberlour 12. A bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

I'll be giving this one a go for the first time. Thanks OP.
