UK import, I doubt it would have an Australian power adaptor. Just be aware.

    • +7

It doesn't, its charged by a Micro USB cable

      • Yeah i think most of us would have a usb charger at home anyway so doesn't matter much if it's UK or AU.

I have this and would highly recommend, if you have any questions about it, just let me know

    • Does this work with this bit set?
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/572310

      • +2

Yes, the screwdriver bits will work perfectly, for the drill bits I bought This, at the time I got it, it was $15, and it works great for drilling into things but not as good as a drill of course, You can search drill chuck and find many on aliexpress, just make sure it is the 1/4" version to fit the electric screwdriver if you want to drill with it

        • Just to get a rough idea on the battery life. For your usage rate how long do you go in between needing to recharge the screwdriver?

And is it made in Germany?

          • +2

@MysticalWok: This is made in Hungary and designed in Germany. And the battery life is pretty good lasted a whole day of disassembling things and assembling things.

    • can this be used to drill holes into brick wall?

      • Not sure if serious….

        • sorry read it too quick - thought it was an electric drill!

      • If it doesn't have hammer function then no.

  • +3

    I DONT NEED IT. 😭

    • Not very ozbargainer of you.

    • Hand in your ozbargain badge

    • +2

No one needs it, we all might need it :)

        That's my life story mate.

I'm wanting to get some of these drill/screw/bit related deals, but being completely uneducated on what is needed for a general set while utilizing the deals is stressing me out.

    • Yes you want everything in the beginning, but end up buying nothing.

  • I bought the previous professional set from Bunnings and haven’t used it heaps.

Do I need this for the stuff in the house

  • +1

How does this compare to the Bosch cordless v

  • Isn't this like ANY other drill???
"Infinitely variable speed control: The more push on the speed trigger the faster the rotations"

    • -1

Most electric screwdriver has only 1 speed which will most likely strip out the screw, with this one it is different to the other electric screwdrivers and it is not a drill either.

  • +2

How about Ozito 3.6V Screwdriver Torch With USB Charging Base from Bunnings

    It's for $34.98

    • I think that’s a decent alternative.

      • +1

But it doesn't have variable speed like this one does. Since it is only 1 speed and that's the max speed you are more than likely to strip out a screw and then you are screwed. I would definitely pay the extra $15 to get this one just to avoid stripping out screws

  • Thanks OP. How did you find this deal? Searching Amazon "Bosch IXO" only comes up with the $79 listing.

    • I can't remember exactly. It sorta pop up on my prime deal for bosch, then I went in and check it out.
Try search with this: Bosch Electric Screwdriver IXO (6th Generation, green, rechargeable with micro USB-cable, variable speed control, in storage case)
That's the exact title of the item or use the link on top.

  • Would anyone know how this compares to the "XIAOMI Mijia Cordless Rechargeable Screwdriver"?

    • Good question, i'm wondering the same as well.

On Amazon the MIJIA Electric Screwdriver,3.6V USB Cordless is selling for $79.99.

  • Thanks OP. Didnt need one but thought would be a good starter toy for daughter to learn to assemble things

    Mines still on pending

This usually happens when an item doesn’t have a release date, it’s pre-ordered, or it’s out of stock.

      • Ah bugger. Never had that status come up from Amazon before. Always thought they had it in stock before they list it
