If price was exactly the same which monitor would you choose for gaming as well as some office based work? Mostly FPS games, connected to RB15 Advanced.

This might help. I don't think you can go wrong with either monitor.
Black uniformity on their review unit isn't good.
Can purchase the Omen @ $790 as part of the HP EPP program. If it is better than Dell i don't mind paying a couple hundred more. It would have to better at that price point no? Though the specs don't look that different to me.
Correction: Specs look more impressive on Dell. Go figure!
Same price? the Omen. There are a lot of people reporting issues with the dell at the moment which is disappointing - I am really keen on the dell.
