Because its locally made, instead of Cotton On whose sole purpose to import the cheapest of the cheap Chinese clothing?
I don't understand the price - just seems expensive for me for a blank piece of cotton. I'm surprised they don't try to personalise it somehow.
Looksmart were giving these masks out for free just a couple months ago, I got it for free and its only 1 layer and feels really cheap, no protection at all! I wouldn't buy these for even $2.

Where is the rule about single layer face masks?
Dan mentioned it a couple of weeks ago on Sunday. Same time as he said no more visors.
He said that it must be at least 2 layers.
@jv: It is recommended to be 3 layers but not mandatory.

These masks suck.. they’re so itchy and rough
100% cotton isn't a good thing, it's supposed to be 3 layers with a synthetic middle layer. I don't see why one would buy this mask for $10 when Cotton On sells 3 layer masks (supposedly) tested to KN90 standard and also $10
