You can also find DIY refill kits on eBay which are significantly cheaper and only take a minute or so to put together.
Yes they work but don't contain the smell anywhere near as well
We use www.cheaperrefills.com.au (i'm in no way affiliated, just a customer. Way cheaper and contain the smell as well as can be expected. Plastic is plastic, right?
@willsy01: Thanks for the tip on that website.
and we use this .. Its cheap and does not smell.. Refills from Tommee Tippee are way to expensive !

The packs of like 500 tiny bags for $5 (or whatever it is) at Big W is the way to go. Double bag the poo ones if you must.
They work just as well, 99% cost saving and dump much less plastic into the environment.
I've used a sangenic for my first kid, second kid only the cheapo bags. The sangenic just doesn't win on any front.
Yeah agreed, the sangenic refills are too costly.
With ours we do 1 medium sized bag (lavender smell) on the actual bin.
Wee nappies go in directly into lavendar bag.
Poo nappies are put in those tiny blue bags before going into the lavender bag.
@Costco is for $24.99 as a regular price. Requires Membership
I use an ubbi bin, the initial outlay is more, but you can use any bags in it.
These bins are terrible. The twist means when you go to empty it and stand up holding where you've just cut, it untwists and all the nappies fall to the bottom 25% leaving you holding 75% empty plastic. I've gone back to using the Angelcare nappy bin. I even emptied all the extra Tommee Tippee refills out and used them to recharge the Angelcare ones. Don't buy this overpriced crap.
Just an FYI for prospective parents. I've found our Angelcare equivalent really useful for both babies because you stick this right next to your change table and for the first 6 months they go through a lot of nappies each day.
However, the cost is in the refils rather than the bins. Tommee Tippee seems to go on offer for the refills for more often than Angelcare so go with this brand.
