Apple AirPods Pro $269.95 + Delivery @ Kogan

420

Just received this via email, but apparently only 300 units.

Unfortunately I already bought previously via Wireless1.

I think this is grey import.

Just a curious what wrong with Kogan?

Their business practice can be questionable at times, as Putin (wow haha) has shown below. Most of their goods are grey imports as well, which you can learn a bit more from this link. Personally, I am just against it given the uncertainty involved in buying these products. All in all, a bit of a gamble buying from Kogan.

        • Grey and non grey imports what’s the difference they all come out of the same factory.
Ok , warranty maybe slightly different but it is the main issue here.

@boozler: Well I personally have experience with Kogan and grey imports for Apple products.

            • Bought an Apple Watch S2 from Kogan, grey import from Hong Kong.
            • Watch experienced an issue after 2nd year, wouldn't turn on anymore (paid over $400 for it)
            • Went to Apple, got a: Sorry, only warranty for 1 year, ACL doesn't apply to you so you only get 1 year
            • Went to Kogan, got a: Sorry, your warranty lasts 1 year, ACL doesn't apply because it's grey, happy to look at it but you have to pay shipping and repair fees
            • Went back to Apple, got a: Sorry can't help, it's bought outside of Australia.
            • Went back to Kogan, got a: Our repairer is on leave till next month, contact us next month
            • Went to Apple for a fight with their Genius, got a: It'll cost you $349 for a repair if you want to proceed; showed some Apple news of S2's not turning on after 2 years use, then Genius accepted it was a faulty Watch and sent it in for repair for free.

I personally don't think it was worth the $50 I saved on the Watch compared to buying it in store. ACL would have easily covered me.

    OOS

    lol that was fast

  • Nabbed a set

    Don't know why

Will probably end up being a bargain to a family member who might want them off me!

  • Queue the price error emails 🙄

    • Hahahahhaha it'd be so funny if it's a price error: https://i.imgur.com/BNmX9b0.jpg

      • I didn't see that. That gives hope then! 🙂

    • Why? It's nowhere near pricing-error territory.

      • Kogan cancelled a TP-Link Deco M5 (3 pack earlier this week) which was nowhere near price error-territory either.

        • I see, not sure why they would cancel orders for items that they're not going to lose money on.
