£134? Is that including or excluding VAT? ;)

firstly this is not pomsbargain.co.uk, so lose the pound and put in $168. Also
Dick Smith has it for $169
WOW has it for $168 as well(CBF)

Also westfield promotional has it for $134

Dick Smith has it for $169

      so… $35 more than this deal….

Also westfield promotional has it for $134

That is this same deal…. (at JBhifi)

      and put in $168.

      why? the deal is $134

      so lose the pound

      Typo… just use report button

Firstly when you click the link it shows $168, I would assume that is the listed price instead of clicking the buy it now button to find out the price(which I did later)

I'll agree that it's not his fault that JB haven't bothered to update their main product page with this info. If this is what you saw when opening the link, I'm sure you would see that it isn't the price stated($134) http://imgur.com/Faozk

I did not neg for the pound sign, if fact if you look at my history I haven't negged(20/08/2011) for anything other than deal not being competitive. From my perspective($168) deal was not competitive.

Anyways I'd happily pos'd if OP had said something like JB page lists it as $168 but clicking "buy online" takes you to the promotional price($138)

robs12 - why did you convert the price from Aussie dollars to UK pounds? :S

  • +5

LOL…you guys kill me. Typing from a very, very old UK bought lappie…my sincerest apologies!!

So there you go, now corrected. It's $134. With free lifetime maps - beat it & feel free to neg me, but otherwise….grow up…can't believe some of you negging for such an obvious typo…saddos!!

    • tell me about it…. how many other JB HiFi's are there? a quick click on the link would show the price was australian anyway. too many trigger happy neg voters with nothing better to do. this IS a bargain.

    • I would prefer if instead of people trolling, which is reaching epidemic levels on OzBargain, that we actually have some constructive criticism of the product/bargain at hand.

How many trolls does it take to report a single typo? Once someone has pointed it out (in detail), let's move on. Why should other people have to search through loads of rubbish to find meaningful discussion?

      • LOL…even the mods join in!! (….No offense foundit ;-))) ….)

Hope someone got a good deal on the GPS's today. Some pretty keen prices I thought. Which is what this site is all about, lest we forget….

  • any idea if Tom Tom via 220 with $133 price tag is better ?..but garmin has an edge that it comes with lifetime maps..but which one is better tom tom or Garmin?..

    • I have used both, and personally I prefer the Garmin. But there isn't really a lot in it. I get rid of a GPS after a couple of years, so lifetime maps doesnt really bother me either. I'd buy the Garmin out of the two, just personal preference.

  • Offer apparently "expires on Monday 28th Nov 2011 unless otherwise specified"

  • Can't be bothered looking it up, but from memory I think Garmin considers a 'lifetime' to be 4 years. Either a lack of confidence in the product (?), or they think their selling GPS to OPG (Optimistic Guinea Pigs)…

    • nup…. i have a garmin, it's LIFE OF PRODUCT.

  • THis has not expired !
    its still available online
