Need cheap Airfares from Kuala Lumpur/Singapore to Cairo in March 2012

I've got cheap tickets Mel - KL for march through AA. Now I need to find cheap tickets from Kuala Lumpur/Singapore to Cairo. Does anyone know of any budget airline or any good web site for full service carriers. I have tried some aussie sites but I can't find anything cheaper than $800 return. Would it be cheaper to go through KL or Singapore.

        Then its iata ticketing code is AK.

          Incorrect, it's D7 for the MEL-KUL segment as AirAsia X is the ticketing carrier.

          Yes you are correct I used the wrong terminology

          Airline designator code would have been the correct terminology.
