I've got 6 Tenda smart plugs with 4 purchased a year ago and 2 recently. Originally the ones purchased a year ago could be controlled via google home and smart speaker but that stopped working a few months ago. I could not get them to work again despite unlinking them and deleting/resetting the plugs. Interestingly the 2 recently purchased are controllable through google home with the on/off link present next to the plug icon. The older plugs do not have the link.
Can someone suggest how I can get the older plugs to work with google home. There is no new firmware available. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Problem solved via google chat support. Because my wife also has Tenda devices linked on her google home app it was causing issues. This post can be closed.
