Belong Failed to Send SMS

Anybody else having this issue?
Works fine from my Telstra sim, oppo reno 2z dual sim.

  • My sister had that issue with Optus, had to go back and forth so many times with them, but finally was resolved. Contact the customer service.

  • Further investigation, seems i can send a txt if i send as a mms with a pic.
    Very annoying.
    Belong yet to respond except for the generic trouble shooting email.

  • Have you tried taking the telstra Sim out, then text from your belong Sim to see if to works?

    Just as support was escalated?

    "We understand that you are unable to send SMS.

    we have escalated the case to next level team and we will get back to you with-in 24-48 business hours."

  • Well it worked fine for 5 days now again today all sms fail to send 😬

  • I ported the missus and myself to belong yesterday. She is having this issue, I’m fine. Logged a ticket.

  • Had the same issue starting yesterday. Logged a support request this morning, they replied this afternoon (which I only saw now) requesting more info, but in the meantime it started working again. Will update if it stops working again.

  • So they said they need to refresh and I would be without service for 3 minutes…
    24hrs later and my sim was still blocked from any outgoing calls/sms/internet.

    What a nightmare Belong is. Now they have finally restored my service, sms is working again but now they managed to kill my mobile data.
    Been 24hrs and no response from them about the mobile internet issue?
    Luckily i can set my data to sim 2 Telstra.

  • No mobile data for 9 days now.
    They are telling me the entire north coast NSW Telstra are upgrading thats why I have no data.

    Swap to sim 2 (Telstra sim) for Mobile data and it works perfectly.

    Belong belongs in the garbage bin.

    My data and MMS is still not resolved but at least SMS is working.

    Seems after no comms from Belong for a week I get a new service rep that requests all the same trouble shooting that I submitted over and over.

    They sent me a new sim saying my sim was faulty but this made no difference.

    Pretty frustrating.

    Had the same issue, contacted them and no help.
    Ended up ordering multiple free replacement SIM cards and whenever the SMS wasn't working, just activated the replacement sim. Then went with Coles Mobile after, no issues with them so far for the yearly plan.
