Ideas for excellent value replacement for Xiaomi Note 4

so…my son just smashed my Xiaomi Note 4, which is a couple of years old but has served me very well. Was really happy with the excellent value for money. What should I get now, not wanting to spend big bucks but looking for good performance? I don't have time to reseach much, so would appreciate your ideas, thanks!

      naa…just dropped it on the tiles… was in a case, I have dropped it a hundred times and nothing ever happened

    1) read the pinned posts at the top of the Mobile forum
    2) make your decision based on budget and requirements.
    if you're too lazy to do that, buy a Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 it should be sufficient for your needs.

    okay…please help. my redmi note 9 PRO from the amazon UK deal arrived but I am confused. It is blue , not interstellar grey like I ordered. and that made me check online here https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/05/02/redmi-note-9-vs-note-9…
    where I saw the camera set up actually looks like the 9S and not the PRO. packaging and sticker says Pro though. How can I tell I've received the Pro?

      Go to Settings > About Phone > Device Model
      What do you see there? It should be 'Redmi Note 9 Pro'. If you see anything else, post it here and we'll have a look as to what have you received actually.

      Also post the amazon UK URL link from where you actually purchased the phone.

      That interstellar grey does look like a light blue. The sealed box will show the colour from Xiaomi.
      I checked that out when I ordered 2 9S's from BG recently, one grey (light blue) and one blue.

      This link shows the 9S and the Pro camera lens layout… both the same. The difference is internal.

      Also, in fine print under the flash it should have 64MP.

    Thanks for the clarification, specs and fine print under the camera lens say Pro!

    Now, ant ideas where I can get the original charger for AU? Forgot that the UK one will not fit. if I use a travel adapter it will be very bulky (won't fit behind my bedhead) and am worried that this adapter will not transform correctly/somehow ruin the fast charger.
