    I'd only buy this with a minimum 2yr warranty. Too many failed within 12months and don't think there was ever a redesign to address the failure

    I’ve had 2 of these, one failed after 14 months (no warranty), the other one failed after 11 months which I’m still fighting to get sorted (PayPal and their 180 days buyer guarantee can go suck a lemon).

    DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!

      I have bought 2. First one failed after 6 months and the second is intermittently failing after 18 months. Another issue is the soft plastic threading when assembling the unit. It is easy to cross thread and damage it. Lastly, it is difficult to find the replacement water filter, that needs to be regularly replaced.

      I have also bought the Xiaomi Whale Spout. So far I have had no problems. It seems to be a better designed unit. The threading is much more robust and the connections fit together better. These is also the Australian power plug with insulated pins. Another big plus with the Whale Spout version is that you can bypass the water filter, which isn't needed if you have clean water flow and want to avoid the costly replacement filter. (The filter for this Whale spout model is more readily available).

        I recently got the Uclean whale spout model. Pretty happy with it so far. You can get it for about $330. Check Ozbargain.

    Got 3 all fail after 18 month to 2 years. The neg is just to warn our ozbargainers about the high failure rate of this model

    I have a feeling that the failures are due to the water filter. I read somewhere that they need to be replaced every 6 months? I've had mine fail after a year (seat warmer is not working too…for some reason ), just a blinking light.

    I've ordered the filter and should be expecting it soon, will report back if this resolves the isssues.

      Why does it need a filter in the first place? What possibly could be in the water that would damage your nether regions?
      It's not like you would be drinking the water from it.

      Yes please let us know, but i suspect that it electronic. I open one up and see moisture inside the essembly. also swap the filter with a working one still not solve it.

      Undo the hose from the seat turn on water, can see that it flow through the filter no issues.

    yep, mine failed after 14 months as well (as so many do), these are not fit for purpose.. contacted the vendor, I did get an offer to buy another discounted one from the vendor, which ended up being more than a new one when on special anyways.

    mine still squirts water, but the buttons other than the on off no longer work, and just do random functions. so you have to play around with it to get the pressure right.

    on the up side, the heater still works too.
