The assembly guide provided has the plastic piece with the foam padding that runs along the top of the door frame the wrong side around mounting behind so it doesn't actually touch and sit flush against the door frame… WTF??? So essentially if you do it as per the assembly guide, the weight distribution is only on the points that touch the drywall (see image link)…
I have this. Worth pointing out that it did a number on the paint on the frame. Use it on a door frame whose looks you don't like or care about…
Can someone let me know how wide their door frame gap is at the top, where this pull up bar will hang from?
