  Can anyone recommend like a premium one of these? I find they are all cheap and plasticy, even the expensive ones. I have a top of the line Braun I think was about $300, it's lasted me about 5 years, does a decent job, had to replace the blade once (probably should have earlier than I did though). My Braun is still plastic and quality is a bit cheap though, what are the top of the line options? Like the ones hair dressers use always seem really nice quality, don't care if I have to plug it in during use.

    I really like my Wahl Lithium in stainless steel. Feels very nice, sturdy and heavy. No idea what hairdressers use though!

      Actually that's what I have, a Wahl Lithium, not a Braun. I want something even sturdier though, when I look at the hairdresser one it's like all metal and solid as, maybe I will just ask my hairdresser haha.

    Philips ones are more trimmer for beard or body hairs. I would say. Not great triming head hairs. Stick to Wahl for that.

      Sorry, it's the Wahl Lithium I have, I use just for shaving/trimming my beard.
