Wonder which category this falls under for casback purposes?

If elsectronic it's 00% for both.

      didn't get you !!

      • +1

yes because google translate needs some updating

        • +2

translation ? Never ! just say what i can say and know what i can know .

        • I meant electronic items get 0% cashback for both Cashrewards and Shopback Australia,

but not sure if this light falls under that category?

Looks like decent lamp, but read in one review that running this light on battery mode ( not sure which power level

it was adjusted to at the time though, maybe Max. ), it only lasted for one hour only on first full charge. Is that normal?

          • @ozhunter68: In fact, it belongs to the lighting category. It lasts about three hours on a full charge.

            • @binsheng0127: Thanks. No lighting section for either Cashrewards or ShopBack though.

  • Does it come with a power adapter or we need our own? also, i can only buy 1. no option to buy 2

    • +1

      Hi!
not with a adapter. I am sorry for that .

      • Can you please read and elaborate/extend/answer my below questions/unknowns? Thanks

    • I looked for that too. Reading questions sounds like it has a prorietory barrel input ( light end ) with 5V and cable is included,

USB A other end. Not sure how long cable is, but does not sound like charger is included ( just like the Xiaomi re-chargable l

ight I have and another cheaper one ). You can use any old 1 amp 5V usb charger for these, bit more would be bonus for f

aster charging when device is plugged in at same time as light is re-charging ( maybe 1 amp max for both, specs not listed ).

Q&As say comes with power cable (USB to DC plug looking at the review pics), no power adaptor.
Lightning deals are usually limited to 1.

  • Rep: How long will this light last on battery when fully charged ( say light is on medium brightness setting )?

    • about 3 hours.

      • Thanks, that sounds good. Will order one then and try it out as I find these lights with battery and usb output very handy indeed.

        • +1

You're welcome.Thank you for buying. But the only way to charge your phone using USB is if the lights are connected to the charging cable

          • @binsheng0127: Thanks. That is not ideal, but still usable when plugged in.

Kind of like "charge through charging" with a power bank.

    • Better for an extra $21 currently. Good link for some who will prefer that one.

I've had one of these for about half a year now, as a 'cheapie' desk lamp for my teenager's room. So far it has survived a few falls to the floor and accidental knocking out of the USB supply cable. Having an internal battery does help. The brightness of the lamp is somewhat lower when running on battery, but it lasts a while (haven't used it to empty so can't comment on how long it actually goes for).

The supplied cable is not that long - about 1m maybe? It's long enough to connect to a nearby powered hub anyway. My teen has used it a couple of times to charge their phone but as its 'power only' then there's no high speed or high current charging (ie. just the 5V 1A). And only if you have it already connected to a power source. At least the power source can literally be anything that supplies 5V via USB.

Only other comment would be that it's relatively easy to turn on or off the lamp as the touch switches are sensitive. Still, I reckon it's a good buy for what it does. My 2c anyway.

    • Great feedback. If it can charge devices at 1A that would actually be good as the similar Xiaomi one I have with the

two usb ports are I think only 1/2A per port max and even 1/2A total max output.

Just to be completely transparent, I didn't check what the actual current was. I'm sure the lamp takes a bit of the input current (to run the LEDs plus do any charging or top-up of the internal battery), so i'm not sure what actually it provides to the charging output. Could be much less than the 1A that I guesstimated.

        • Yeah, that sounds like it more to me too, always lose some current in circuit and allows power for light and battery like you say.
