Bone conduction headphones great for if you need to keep track of your surroundings. I drive/use heavy machinery at work and need to be able to hear things like radio and people even while wearing earplugs. These have been great so far.

Not suitable for everyone. Always will have better audio quality with direct sound rather than conduction. But these are great for.me.

Thanks. I listened to a friend's and thought the sound quality was great considering. And much more comfortable than in-ears. With the Costco returns policy, I'll pull the trigger on this one

  • If your not in a hurry for them wait till they go to X. 99c price. That's when at lowest price point. Having said that. When they had the Sony Xm3s. at Moorabbin they were rarely on sale. Just depends on store how they mive stock.

I thought it was the X.97c price point?

      • That's "clearance, will not be restocked" I had explained to me once when I was asking after an out of stock product.

  • How do these compare to bose frames?

  • As per my above comment, I bought them today. I don't have experience with other bone conduction earphones, so can't compare there. But they are substandard to any decent pair of earphones. If you do an A/B test, the bone conduction are so much flatter in the sound stage. I think it's just a natural limitation of bone conduction.

Also the mic quality was pretty poor. I wouldn't want to have to use them for calls.

If you need bone conduction, these are probably really good bang for buck. But you'd need a reason to prefer them over full earphones.

I'll be taking these ones back.
