About to start a new job and want to sell my old Golf.
Don't want the hassle of a private sale and the new position comes with a car.
Has anyone used cash4cars or can you suggest something different?

The more effort you put into the sale the more money you can get for it. OP, it's up to you how much you value your time/effort versus the best price you can get for your car.
Out of interest, what car is your new job getting you?
Its just a work ute. Not sure yet but the Golf isn't needed and not paying for rego or petrol will help
I've used a similar thing. They offered much lower than market, but I bought it the day before for $1500 less than they offered me so I was happy. Extremely easy process. They had a guy look at it, then transferred the money, then a flat bed came and picked it up.
Sounds promising then. I'm not after the money, just happy to get rid of it

I used one called ‘carbuyers online’ and it was fairly decent. They paid me $1000 less than the private sale Redbook which was still more than the dealer/trade in Redbook value. I was happy with that, knowing it was instant and not having to deal with gumtree or Carsales tyrekickers.
anyone tried Carsales instant offer? Looking to sell my old car soon
If you're willing to accept about half your car's market value, then you don't have to go through this hassle.
