Help Me Find a Good Deal on Martin Guitar DJR 10E Natural Finish

Hi Guys

Looking for a Martin Guitar DJR 10E-Natural finish. Most shops are out of stock or don't sell this type. Preferably somewhere in Sydney so I can test them before buying. The cheapest one I found online that have stock is Derringers for $1089 and they are in Adelaide. Musos corner have them for $1049 but they don't have stock and said that it would take 6 month for new stock to arrive. They also cannot guarantee the price of the new stock would be the same. Another store I rang is Manny's music but they also don't have stock. So wondering if anyone knows a good deal Thank you

    Gumtree. And don't be so fanatical about a brand. It ain't help you play better.

    I've been looking at this model too. Currently tossing up between the Martin or the Taylor GS Mini :|

      Can't comment on the Martin, but the GS Mini is awesome!

    Martin is made from all solid wood while Taylor has laminated back. Meaning Martin guitar sounds can improve as you play but Taylor will stay the same. Both have great sounds. I believe Martin has more warm calm sound while Taylor more bright sound. However I chose Martin due to its full solid wood plus its a dreadnought body. However I recommend play them both and see which one you like.

        Yup I have seen that video. I still like Martin better 😊. The all solid wood, warm balanced tone Martin is famous for and that dreadnought body are the reasons why.

      The Taylor has laminate back and sides but it does have a solid top. This does mean that it will sound better over time, but of course not to the extent of a solid body guitar like the Martin. It would be interesting to hear the sound of an much older solid body guitar against a older solid top laminate sides and back guitar.
