  • Im interested in one of these but there seems to be so many posted - How does this one rate for the price? im looking for something with a fair bit of power after runs

use reciprocating saw and replace the blade with the silicon thingy,
it has powerful motor gives you 0-3,000 strokes per minute…

  • How does this compare to hypervolt and theragun?

    • It's a lot cheaper. I don't have this specific model but I have about 6 similar ones and they're fantastic. Never tried the hypervolt or theragun but these do the job for myofacial release.

I've heard the theragun is absurdly loud and the hypervolt is muuuch quieter. These are basically stolen IP from hypervolt. Mine even said "Hypervolt" in the manual

      • Do you use this professionally? Is that why you have 6 similar ones?

        • Yes I do, I keep two at the house to charge, two in the office and two in the car - I rotate them when the charge gets low.

Which came first though ? 🤔 Did hypervolt just rebrand something off AliExpress …

        • I believe theragun made the first that was literally a copy of a reciprocating saw and they charged like $800 for it. Hypervolt came in and redesigned it completely and then the Chinese brands jumped on that.

    • +2

You will get 90% of the hypervolt for 20% of the price… these cheap Chinese clones are good.

It would be great if OP could provide the tech specs everyone wants to know. How far does the massage head travel when moving in and out? It's generally between 8mm and 14mm. This is called travel or amplitude and is a critical specification. Also how much pressure can it exert before the motor stops (stall force). The information being provided about speed (rpm) and battery capacity is nice but is of little value.

    • +1

From what ive seen all these ones around $80 are all the same. They are all Chinese brands that are basically the same thing re-labeled

Not valid for amazon prime. Big difference as there's no guaranteed return…

  • What will bring me more enjoyment, a 3080 RTX or fifteen of these?

    • +3

      i think KFC is nicer

    • +1

Not sure what are your plans for 15 of these. I'd recommend you start with just one, but of course I am being very cautious here…

Depending on the GPU you already have, 3080 RTX might not add much enjoyment.

  • I've been looking at these for a while. Concerned that a lot of these cheaper plastic ones don't seem to last long according to the high number of reviews reporting failures.
Ended up buying one of these: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B087Q63KH4 Still reasonably cheap, but seems better quality.
Received it yesterday. All-metal housing and looks and feels really well made. Works well too. I'd certainly recommend the one I got.

    • What's the travel length/amplitude? Do they specify in the manual? This one is supposedly 12mm.

      • Mine doesn't say in the docs, but measuring it looks like 6-7mm. Seems plenty.

    • Thanks for your thoughts, that one does look good. Does it make some sacrifices for being more compact?

  • Seller just responded with 12mm travel…

You mean the review "Bad quality product! (but fair customer services)"

  • finally pulled the trigger on getting one. impulse buy approved at that price

  • For the owners of massage gun, is this good for back & shoulder massage?
