The game takes the 2D presentation and gameplay found in Terraria, and combines it with Minecraft's exact tile set, items, and enemies. It's fascinating and a bit eerie to see everything from Minecraft's torches, furnaces, pigs, and even creepers, re-thought to work from a 2D perspective.
Crafted is unlikely to survive long in its current form if Mojang catches wind of it. Most of the pixel art seems to have been lifted wholesale – the game is pretty shameless. But with enough changes, the title could evolve into a viable take on the growing sandbox block building genre.
weird, i swear notch has said its ok to do ripoffs, if you call it something else and dont use their textures.
if they made their own textures it would of been fine.
They copied everything out of minecraft. Mobs, recipes, tilesets, and blocks. Just a lawsuit waiting to happen. The author could've avoided it if he implemented a bit of originality in the game design.
