i want to plug my usb keyboard to ipad..
Not sure that setup will work. For $50 you can get a bluetooth keyboard that works with ipad.

eBay has these kind of products for dirt cheap. Not good quality though so if your after something that lasts more than a few months get the Apple one.

Be aware that there are two different official Apple Lightning to USB adapters:

I haven't used one, but this should theoretically be a huge advantage over the USB 2 adapter, which I have used, and often fails to connect to devices because they draw too much power for the iOS device to provide.

Buy an android phone where you can do this easily and cheaply.
Am I missing something or couldn't you do this with a standard USB to lightning cable and manually opening the Photos app yourself?
