Funnily enough, I am a bit short on green watches at present.

    How timely…

    • stainless bracelet would have been nice, but still nice watch in green.

    Nice hulk !

  • looks like a cross between a hulk and a fifty fathoms

    thought its Rolex Submariner

  • Anyone bought from site before? Experience/opinions on solar power vs battery vs automatic?

I presume no real cons except for a light source? would it last for a night event if used during the day time (in and out of office)?

Haven't heard much about solar watches (totally out of the whole watch industry), but i presume they are as reliable these days as per quartz?

Once fully charged (e.g. by being under the sun for a couple of hours) Eco-Drive watches would last months without charging, incomparably longer/easier than 50 / 80 hours of automatic.
Can't beat it for convenience, although you don't get the Rolex/automatic prestige..
I have had 3 EcoDrives if not more..

Having owned the BN0150 black dialled version - absolutely spend the extra and get it on the bracelet - hands down the best clasp and useful ratcheting divers extension for the money. These have a 20mm lug width, so extremely versatile on straps and the light weight and thin height go well with perlon straps in particular.

    • I bought the bn0150 on a bracelet (only as it was the only one a availble at the time, was in Vegas at an outlet).

However I never really thought It looked good on it and just recently changed it and put it on this, tbh I think it looks much much better than on the bracelet.

I actually did the same with my Seiko gold Arnie a week to 2 later (straight black version).

  • Do people actually wear these while diving?

I love the look of the divers watch especially the rubber strap.

    • when on holidays or general water sports, have worn diving, but good watches when near water in general, e.g beach.

    • I use my Rolex submariner when I go diving off my yacht. Nonetheless, what makes diver watches great is that they are waterproof and pretty durable.

you used it wrong. submariners are for using inside submarines.

  • I'm interested in this seller.
How is OZ members' experience with them please :)?

The delivery is very slow atm, it's been 3 weeks and the watch just arrived in Australia, at their processing center.

      • Thank you mate :)

        • Got the watch 2 days ago, it's nice, but I think the box might be different from the original? The YouTube videos I've seen have it in a bigger box with the citizen lettering inside and a white cushion but the one I got is black with the label outside the box and a black cushion. Not a watch expert so I can't 100% say it's legit but did the water test so I'm confident that it's real sapphire glass on mine.
