Hi all, I recently got into the RC car hobby, and the charger that came with my car seems to be really slow, takes about 2-3 hours for a 1500mah Battery. I was looking into the RC smart chargers but not looking to spend more than $30-$35. I am charging LiPo batteries

Ok, well, we still need to know what size and configuration they are. Voltage will tell us at least what cell config they have. What type of connectors does it have? Does it have a balance lead or just the main leads?
Your problem will be that you might get a charger that charges them faster, but in your price range, it may only save you a fraction of that time. You may need to go up to a 150~200w charger, but those are going to set you back quite a bit more than $30.

@CrazyBargainCatcher: From what I've read, what you've linked is the fake version of the proper SkyRC IMAX B6. It'll work (probably), but it's a knock-off and may screw you over.

Same thing out of Hobbyking says that it's only a 50w charger, and I would believe Hobbyking over Aliexpress sellers.

Second what pegaxs said. Probably good to get extra batteries too. Aliexpress is usually good for this type of thing.
I have an iMAX b6AC for my 4s LiPos that I've had for about a year now. Came with an XT-60 cable and a few others that I don't use. May be able to get a XT30 adapter if that's what you are using.
It'll charge my 4s up 600mah in around 20 mins. If I were serious I'd get a parallel charging board as well.
That's the one I have too. Highly recommend. I hook it up to my PC to interface with it.
What does that enable you to do?
Lets you run Skyrim on it.
Would be handy to know what batteries you are charging. NiCd, NiMh, LiPo, LiIo?? What voltage are the batteries? Things like that.
