Suggest a Laptop That Can Run Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Hey Guys, my roommate need a laptop under $1000. He is a student and need it for photoshop and illustrator for college assignment.
Any recommendations?
*He need it in 10 days.

      I posted the comment before I went to bed, sleepy, so no reasoning added. There's no intention to make it $1 under OP's budget for pun.

      For Photoshop and Illustrator work, I'd suggest looking for laptop with good screen as @jiberz suggest. For $1,000 budget, there's not much there, either MSI Modern 14 or Asus UM433DA, but UM433DA is sold out, both have a better colour gamut coverage.

      @jiberz's suggestion also worth considering, it has 15.6" screen instead of 14", but have a reduced colour gamut, so, weight your priority.

    Sample. Really for design work you need to look for a good IPS or IPS like screen because colour reproduction is quite important.

      Well, I'm trying to suggest a good IPS screen laptop under $1,000, and get pounded.

    Acer Swift 5 is also a good alternative, good colour screen and lightweight.
