Neg vote on this deal revoked. The CCP has taken over ozbargain too.

    • +12

You are living in your dream. Stop polluting the forum.
Contrary to what you saying, someone admitted to be hired by the US goverment to spread misleading information against Chinese goverment here.

I am just letting everyone know what's happening here. I have no interest in hearing your conspiracy theories.

      • -4

There's no conspiracy theories about what I'm saying. It's all out in the media…. And before you start questioning their integrity and credibility, many journos on the SMH and The Age are writing about this. It's been all over 60 minutes also. Not going to bother referencing each one as you've clearly got your head in the sand and nobody is changing your mind.

        • +9

I think you are the one whose head is in the sand now. You simply think people downvoted you are CCP, not realizing your comments are not welcome in this forum…pity.

          • -4

@Freeskater: Not welcome by whom? Plenty of people have upvoted the above anti-china comments. It's just that the CCP have come at them with numbers and the result is a net downvote. And I was originally complaining about my neg on the deal being revoked, not people downvoting me from CCP.

            • +7

@Lets Make Sandwiches: Not welcome by people wanting to see product reviews, not unrelated political views.
Good luck 'social justice warriors', I am not going to occupy more space in this forum as it is unrelated to the post.
If you are genuine about what you are saying and want to convince others, I hope you can also read news more broadly and accept other views that not consistent to what you believe.
Again, there is no place for you to post political views here.

            • +1

@Lets Make Sandwiches: @lemmstar it was revoked as it was not valid, your tin foil hat opinion holds no valid neg on this deal. It only applied to other tin foil hatters

        • +4

Sure it's all out in the WESTERN media - where you would have found minimal unbaised coverage of CCP over the last 10 years.
Neither are you chaing your mind anyways. I am tired of these meaningless online forum debates…

        • That's all Murdoch propaganda. You would be better getting your news from random people on the street than those sources.

Jabra active 75t is on sales for $279, also Huawei is linked with CCP hence we should reduce buying from them.
    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/jabra-elite-active-75t-tr…

    • Jabra made in China using Chinese parts since it matters to you. Leave all this CCP comments out mate, 99% of the deals here are for china made products.

      • I think his point is that the government owns Huawei and hence they have full access to peoples data. Unless he is talking about the Chinese slaves in the factory.

        • +1

The parts that are in the Jabra are made and owned by Chinese companies. Their argument is that their Facebook news feed told him not to buy Chinese products.

        • +1

Slaves? Did trump tell you that?

          • -1

@RimofLeo: I don't need any one to tell me anything. I'm very much able to do my own reading and research. There are literally tons sources online. Even YouTube has hidden video footage and you know how rare this is to come by as the CCP blocks VPN and you'd have to be pretty technical to know how to upload it without going to prison.

You know it's bad when factories in China have suicide nets installed.

If you want more recent news read up on the Mulan debacle. Remind you this is not from one source. This is from multiple sources. The government doesn't control everything you know nor would it be possible to control all media sources without one whistleblower.

            • +1

@No Username: "I'm very much able to do my own reading and research." "This is from multiple sources. "
Trump's fans do reading, watching fox news too. And fox is not the only media in favor of Trump.
Thanks for your reply but it is not convincing at all.

@RimofLeo: Why do you refer me as a Trump fan? Do all people who make other opinion automatically make them "Trump Fans"? You do know we are in Australia right?

                • +1

@No Username: Of course you are not a Trump fan. This is so-called analogy: if your info resources are not reliable, you are gonna make misleading conclusions.

                  • +1

@RimofLeo: There are plenty of reliable sources. What do you mean. There are more sources that outweigh the conclusion of there being no slaves in China. Are you using Baidu as your search engine? What you are concluding is what flat earthers are trying to do. Spreading misinformation and using sources with no credibility and opposing creditable people who actually have a degree.

                    • +1

@No Username: Are they reliable because "there are plenty of sources"? I use Google and Bing as my search engines and so what?
Your resources are always reliable while others who disagree with you are "spreading misinformation and using sources with no credibility"?
                      What an unbeatable logic.

                      • @RimofLeo:

while others who disagree with you
Who are the others you speak of?

Do you really think that there are no slaves in China. 80% of their population are low income earners. People will do anything for shelter and the fact that there are suicide nets says it all. Do you see any suicide nets on factories in Australia. No. We are talking about a communist country who give no s**t about their citizen. Why do think so many things are made in China.

What have you clarified? All I've seen in this conversation is you criticising, and then doing the very same thing.

I bet you never have a chance to go to a university to study, do you?

You know what? I actually got University offers even before my final exams and these courses required an 80-95 ATAR depending on what uni you wanted. So if you want to judge my intelligence there you go.

                                • @No Username: Is a possible offer from uni equivalent to a bachelor's/master's/Ph.D. degree? So you are saying nothing can be learnt via higher education?Indeed, I was not questioning your IQ at all. I was only shocked by your logic and I think uni is a good place to practice critical thinking.

                                  • @RimofLeo:

So you are saying nothing can be learnt via higher education?

Please quote the line where I said this. What is the point you are trying to make? The offer I got was a bachelor's in Software Engineering which could be completed in 2.5 years due to my past work and experiences.

I was only shocked by your logic

                                    Where is my logic flawed?
There are anecdotal, physical, images and video evidence. Are you saying these are CGI?

                                    • @No Username: Thanks for verifying the fact that you never attend uni.
I did not say these are ALL CGI. In fact, partial truth is worse than CGI. If you are referring to the working environment, I bet China is above average. If China is a slavery country in your opinion, what about Thailand, Vietnam, India, and all the other developing countries?

                                      • @RimofLeo:

Thanks for verifying the fact that you never attend uni.

I'm starting to get the feeling that you may schizophrenic. Your repetitional acts of stating arguments that have not been said is concerning. Where have I said this?

If China is a slavery country in your opinion, what about Thailand, Vietnam, India, and all the other developing countries?

Well, forced labour work are common in developing countries. But when compared to China, there are fewer reports of human rights violations and I haven't seen a factory that has had suicide nets installed like the one in China. I have not seen any reports of people committing suicide due to inhumane working conditions or lack of pay.

                        • @No Username: I feel so sorry for you. Completely brain washed by the so-called 'reliable sources'.

                          • @Freeskater: 'Brain washed' lol. What do you see as a reliable source? Are you saying all these sources are working together to conspire against something. Do you not see how far fetched that seems. These are big media outlets that are trusted by people. They have reputation to which they would try not to tarnish. If they were spreading false information and portraying acts of defamation, how have they not been sued or had any government intervention.

                            • @No Username: They do not have any reputation in reporting some aspects, and this is systematic. There are many things opposite to their broadcast, however, you won’t be able to hear easily as those are filtered.
I hope one day if you have a chance to land on China, find the so called ‘slaves’. If you cannot find them, you will know what those medias with ‘reputation’ have feed you with.

                              • @Freeskater: I'm half Chinese and have visited China to see family. In fact I go there once in a while for business meetings. There are indeed detention camps that treat Muslim inhumanly. There are suicide nets on factories. There are even satellite images that depict this. China is the most censored and filtered country out there. In China they have the 'great fire wall' which blocks pretty much all social and news website. In China there is only one religion you can practice, even saying happy birthday to the Dalai Lama lands you in prison. The only chat platform is We Chat and that is government owned. The news section of the app is filled with propaganda and there are even keyword filtering which does not allow you to say certain things. You are blind if you think China is transparent. Two questions for you: Have you even been to China and What news network do you trust?

          • @RimofLeo: You do realise that in China people are held against their will to product items? They are literally kidnapped off the street.

            • @onlinepred: Against will? In this world, few people are willing to work. Can you earn a life just by wandering on the street? As a social being, I have to work only because my boss pays my salary.
Everyone is literally kidnapped off the street everywhere on this planet lol

              • @RimofLeo: Okay….

              • @RimofLeo: I'd rather go homeless and build shelter to live in the forest rather than spending 12 hours for 6 days a week to screw in iPhones for only $2 an hour. Have you seen the living quarters? They are like jail cells. Everything is dirty and there is 1 toilet and shower per 200 residents. There is no such thing as minimum wage in China. When 18 workers committed suicide at the Apple factory they only raised the workers salary by 25cents. If you actually visit China you will see kids as young as 4 year old working and assembling parts. These kids belong in school but because school fee are ridiculously high their family have no way of paying it.

@RimofLeo: I am thinking exactly the same.

@No Username: I know China a lot better than just a few business trips. And what you claimed about slaving people, underage workers (4 year old, are you kidding?) and working conditions are abosulutely not true. Call the police if you ever see these things anywhere in the world, or show the world.

I feel tired seeing people like you polluting this forum by making this false claim. You can think whatever you like to think. Just leave the forum clean please.

There are more than a couple of chinese related products on sale and got shared in here. What I am feeling is that ozbargain could use a better comments filtering/blocking feature…These self-righteous brain deads are conducting their daily anti-China preaching and enjoying the hell out of themselves…

BTW, I've seen other forum being able to block certain users for good. But not sure if it's easy to implement.

Bought these about 6 months ago, noise cancelling shit itself within 3 months and was never that good - sound doesn’t compare to airpods gen 2 (which I replaced them with).

Probably shouldn’t support a shitty Chinese company anyway

  • I got these a few months ago after I lost my air pods gen 1.
Sound quality is pretty good and better than pods 1 I believe.
NC Is decent if you're just wanting to block out a bit of background noise to focus in to what you're listening too but tbh I'm not a fan of noise cancelling I like to be aware of my surroundings.
    Overall happy with them.
