Anti Fog Cloth from $9.50 Delivered (Discount for Multiple Purchase) @ Fog off eBay

14

Does wearing specs + mask = annoying fog for you?

There is an easier way. Of course you can make alterations to your mask, use tissues to block airflow etc, but sometimes your glasses will still fog up. And it appears (especially in Melbourne) that compulsory wearing of masks will be with us for months to come.

Well, visit www.fogoff.net.au(ebay.com.au) for locally (Melbourne) held stock of reusable anti-fog cloths that really work.

The cloths need to be stored in their sealed pouch after each use, but should last a good couple of months even with daily use.

Cloths start at $9.50 each (cheaper when buying in multiple) and Australia wide postage INCLUDED. We post them out next business day from your order, so they will arrive much sooner than those bought from overseas.

I have set up a discount with OzBargainers in mind. The more you buy, the higher the discount, and the cheaper the cloths get. We can only supply about 80 of these cloths at this price

1 cloth = $9.50 inc postage
2 cloths = $9.22 per cloth inc postage
3 cloths = $9.03 per cloth inc postage
4 or 5 cloths = $8.74 per cloth inc postage

Plus you are buying from an independent optometrist in Melbourne (details listed on website), so we can vouch for the quality, effectiveness and safety of these cloths. Business conditions are extremely tough at the moment, so any support we can find is appreciated and really makes a difference for us.

This technology works on all spec lenses (coated and uncoated), sunglasses, goggles, shields and even scuba diving masks!

So what are you waiting for? Time to get the fog off!

  • This is an ad, it's just regular price

    • I have just put the price down in response to previous feedback :)

  • Is this a bargain or an ad?

  • I just use RainX anti-fog for my glasses

The rainx bottle warns that it is an eye irritant. Never had that problem?

      • +1

Rain-x advised it can damage the coatings on some lenses.

    • reading through the recommendations on Rain-X website - they do say that it is only recommended for external glass. It also may not have been tested for use on surfaces really close to your eyes (such as on your spec lenses).

Thanks was looking for something like this!

    Fog off yourself!

  • Begone, foul ad!

    What about soap and water?

    • soap and water is great for cleaning lenses. And we recommend this as usual, before then using the anti-fog treatment as a "final coat"
Soap and water by itself isn't a useful anti-fog treatment.

I just breath on mine and wipe on my shirt.

Are anti-fog sprays or wipes/cloths generally better in terms of efficacy?

    • I can't comment on sprays vs cloths depending on individual versions as quality may differ widely. We have tried both modalities and we vastly prefer cloths as it has a better ability to coat the lens with the correct amount. With anti-fog treatments, too much (which easily happens with sprays) can add a haze/blur to your vision. Also, with sprays/gels, you have to wipe/rub it with a cloth/tissue anyway, and then you are throwing out whatever is on that tissue as well.
