Apart from it being DELL, because of backlit KB, it's not bad.
Wtf at the 32 bit Windows 7 pro though.

Latitudes are standard price. I saw the same price for E6420 in the main page too.
I dont know, why is this called clearance sale.

  Vostro looks thinner than Edge.
  Dell outlet had a E6400 precision refurbished laptop for 1200. Actual cost was around 3000.
  I think good thing about them is impressive looking, better screens, very good graphic card and 8 GB RAM ( 32 GB upgradable) and we can attach additional SSD to them. 2 USB3 and 3 USB2.
  But I wanted to know, if they are worth buying with 1 year warranty ( original comes with 3 years)

  But any idea on precision would be fine. I will be using it at home office for routine work and development.

Dumb question here - but how did you manage to get $499? It says $1,099 minus the $300 for $799. I'm confused?!?
