  • Is the Lego Harry Potter glitchy on Switch too?

    • +2

      I'll tell you tonight…

The kids haven't reported any glitches. I watched them for a while and it seems to be fine.

  • Will it be good for 5 yr old ?

    • +2

Just Dance would be fine. Harry Potter might take a while to get the hang of, but I'm sure they'll enjoy running around exploring if nothing else.

    Just dance 2020 also $23.08

    • Thanks. Added.

  • Anyone know if Just Dance is suitable for a toddler. They want to join in on the switch gaming but are terrible at every game?

    • +1

No reason why they couldn't do it. They could just hold a joycon and jump around. They won't win, but at least they're involved.

Mario Kart is also good for little kids because you can turn on auto throttle and steering assist and no matter how bad they are they still get around the track.

      • Thanks for the reply!

  • Can anyone help me with Just Dance.

My kids love it (when their cousins come over).

Right now I am just Chromecasting from the Just Dance app and it picks up loads of songs. Someone can hold the phone if they want.. but no big deal.

Does buying it natively on Switch bring in anything additional?

    • I've never used the app so i can't comment on that, but on switch the joycons sense the movement. So i guess that's different to however the app works.

There's a free demo of JD2020 on the estore. Give it a try.

      • how do the songs work? is there an ever expanding library or is it that JD2020 comes with "these 20 songs" and that's it?

        • Not sure, sorry. I've only played the demo.

        • Just dance unlimited seems to have a few more songs than JD now.

JD 2020 only comes with the (40?) preloaded songs, and then if you get unlimited subscription, it gets all the songs from previous games + some bonus ones, until JD2021 comes out, then I believe it stops updating new songs unless you get JD2021. I'm not sure how often songs get updated though.
