from what I hear, and correct me if I am wrong, at least in nsw:
all energy companies have the same tariffs and rates. They are competing based on discounts only.
They may only require 1 or 2 yr contracts.
Most (Ausgrid, AGL etc) are offering 10% discount + perhaps cash back. Is that correct?
Dodo is way cheaper… these rates are Origin Green 25% Wind Rates
