Agree with scrimshaw, a lot of phones from TD are usually China made phones. There is nothing wrong with it, still able to use and all. Gotta love their value, and basic functions (e.g. calling, smsing, and 8bit games). But don't expect much (or any at all) support. Their instruction booklets are all in Chinese, and you can feel the flimsiness (plastic toy-like) in the product.
How do I know? I bought from them before.

I would say that ALL the phones on TD are made in China LOL
thankyou scrimshaw and CuteChocobo. I am grateful for your feedback and insights. That is what i was looking for. cheers
also note some alot are only GSM.
What makes you think they're good value though?
Pros:
Absolutely none.
Cons:
No brand,
no local warranty
No tech support, and some may not support local 3G networks
Very little modding community behind it,
Many of them suffer from poor battery life (low density lithium batteries)
You need to wait ages for shipping to arrive
Some of them still run on Froyo
Many of them use lower performance Via / Rockhip cpu's which are crap compared to Snapdragons / Scorpions
A lot of these phones have sub-par resolution e.g WQVGA on a 3.6 inch display is just ugly
600mhz processor on a phone that costs $200 USD is poor value compared to a $128 Acer Liquid Metal.
You're better off just buying locally or waiting for a deal like the HTC Mozard or Liquid Metal to pop up again.
