M5 South-West Cashback Scheme - Linkt: How/When to Claim Cashback

Hi all,

Recently opened a Linkt tagless account last month and I have been using the toll 3 times already. I'm having trouble finding a way i can claim cashback on it.

My LinkT account is registered for cashback: "You are currently registered for the M5 Cashback scheme. You can submit your claim online or update your preferences and view your statements via the View details button." But when i click on Claim Cashback, it says "You have not made any trips which are eligible for cashback".

I am 100% sure that i did. Under FAQ (https://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/sydney-motorways/toll-charges/m5-…) which states that I can claim cashback on:
Motorists can claim a rebate on tolls incurred using an eligible vehicle at the following locations on the M5 South-West Motorway:
The Hammondville toll plaza
Henry Lawson Drive, Milperra
The River Road, Revesby
Fairford Road, Padstow
Belmore Road, Riverwood.

Yet, i havent been given the option to. Any ideas?

      Ah ok, so every quarter rather than month. Hopefully i get it by the end of this month. Fingers cross.

    To expand on what others have said, at the end of each quarter you'll receive a cashback statement, along with your regular monthly statement. This will list all the eligible trips.
    Once that lands, go to your account and click the Claim Cashback tab. You'll be redirected to the RMS site, given the opportunity to discard any business transactions that are ineligible for cashback, then you enter your bank details and they wire it over in a couple of days.
    Also, just a heads up, you're eligible for the cashback on the toll charge, but not the tax paid, so you'll find the amount you get back is a little lower than what you actually paid for the tolls.
