        Yeah. Can I ask how you decided on that card? I got the FTW Ultra (the most expensive/presumedly the best one… (of the EVGA cards) )

        6 cards seems like too much choice when you're panic buying at 1am… But for the six EVGA cards they had, priced $60 difference between them and I pretty much figure ehhh.

        Did you make an "informed decision"? I don't mind the lights, I'm not really keen on flashing colours but I presume i can set it to one solid color, make my box glow slightly brighter…

      I figured, double? might be able to get something in the $2400 range but PLE won't let you gave 3080 AND a 3090 on order and I didn't feel like dealing with any other company after last week… unless creating smurf accounts to troll people selling FE cards on eBay counts as dealing with mWave or MSY. DEFINITELY feel like doing that…

      I didn't get a FE 3080 or FE 3090 at MWave but I was successful in ordering a basic model EVGA 3090 XC3 from PLE at $200 above RRP of the Founder's Edition. I didn't look at any other stores given their previous price gouging tactics so I assumed PLE was the cheapest in this regard.

      I was emailed by PLE saying that my order was randomly selected to verify my credit card or ID for the order to proceed.
      I was also emailed by PLE to say that I was not included in the launch stock so what I had preordered was a future allocation for when they get stock some time down the track (they had no ETA).
      I then read many reviews of the 3090 and discovered that for gaming, it is approximately 10% better than the 3090 but for 230% of the price (based on the base model 3080 costing $1,139 from PLE at the time).

      TL;DR PLE helped me dodge a bullet.

    I managed to get drawn for the 3080 in a re-draw late last week. Mwave just sent me an email confirming my order so we'll see if they fulfill it.
