Hey folks. Am looking to buy Cerato Sport plus 2020 edition. Spoke with a dealer and was quoted $28,800 for the following:
Premium colour, dash mat, weather shields, floor mats and tinting and 12 month rego
Is this a good deal or no deal?

I am trying to negotiate the deal for 27,500….lets see how is pans out
GT's are going for mid 30's these days. They were low 30's pre covid.
If you can get one with those extras thrown in for $27500 pat yourself on the back OP.
I bought my Sport+ 3 months ago with a few more accessories than that and paid about that amount OTR.
They've gone up in price about $3000 since then.
So you paid 27.5k?
which state are you looking to buy?
You can see from their profile that they are in Sydney so logic would suggest that they are in NSW
I paid a few more $$ than that needsadeal but that close to the price that it doesn't matter.
How do you find the car so far?
Have come across a My19 hatch <$20k which seems like a decent buy..
How do you find the car so far?
Very happy with it, due to current restrictions I haven't had a chance to go for a decent drive so haven't even had the 3K service yet.
It's my second Cerato so I'm a bit prejudiced with any recommendations I may make..
There's a thread on Whingepool about Cerato's that's been going for a couple of years that contains (among the usual Whirlpool bs) some helpful information if you're interested.
Current campaign price is $30255 for premium colour). I'd value the mats, tint and weather shield at $350.
I think you can probably squeeze another few hundred out of the dealer … not sure if you'll get it at $27500.
Wow all jumped in price, got a friend a MY19 with safety pack, used 19,000km for $17k in February. Dealers wanted ~$25K new, Sydney
If you negotiate may be a GT is better?
