Greetings everyone, just noticed that Cashrewards have increased their refer-a-friend referral program to $20 for both referrer and referee :)
Seems like the biggest referral bonus we've seen so far, and a great initiative to get people to sign up.
Tell a friend about Cashrewards and you’ll both get a $20 bonus once they make their first transaction of $20 or more (within 90 days).

Couple of questions if anyone can answer them as I am new to Cashrewards as of seeing this:
Do most people link their card(s?), or is there a way to add purchases manually? I'm guessing it removes the hassle of adding things manually at the expense of them getting a bit more of my purchasing data.
Is the Cashrewards app useful/worth having or can I get by without it?
Are there any other cashback services that are recommended?
Edit: And is the Chrome extension worth having?

It's worth it. I linked my card and have the extension. It's easy to do and stopped me from calling the bikies on myself when I forgot to use Cashrewards.
How do you even link it?
It was an option in the sign-up when I joined… but because you asked, just logged in to find it and it's buried in settings under in-store offers. Not really intuitive.

Can the $20 purchase be woolworths/amazon/ebay giftcards? Cound not find it in terms and conditions.
Here's a subset of the terms linked in the post:
A “Qualifying Purchase” means any purchase through the Cashrewards system in line with the prevailing terms and conditions which results in cash back to the member.
All subscription services, digital services and surveys including but not limited to iTunes, Woolworths Gift Cards and Audible are expressly excluded from this promotion.
Are mobile sim card purchases eligible?
