        oh no, oh no

      • Pretty much sealed the deal.

    This has been posted before…

Also the call rates are good but if you make lots of small calls then this isn't a great deal…

    • I thought duplicates were meant to be deleted.

      This one got through.

Yeah, they had 25c and free text Hello to Hello previously.
You can get through that credit quite quickly if you keep hitting people's voicemail etc.

So previously 4 calls to the dollar (flagfall) and now 3.3.

Not bad, especially for calling OS but was better a few weeks back.
Call quality is random (echos delays etc)

It was 25c flagfall before, now it's 29c, you know it's just a matter of time before it goes up again. Don't deal with companies that bait and switch.

  • So, how much is the SIM…???

    Is there a Deposit requirement?

How does it compare to TPG's offer?

  • +1

The T & C's are missing from the page, which makes it a bit difficult to get proper information.

What sort of phone plans are you people on that you're complaining about a flagfall increase of 4 cents, when there's no further cost for the call? My tel$tra post paid costs me close to a dollar for a call that goes straight to messagebank, let alone a call that I actually get to use.

    • I think you'd expect a little better N/W coverage from Telstra… for that $1.00

  • I recently switched to this and am quite happy. I don't make many calls, mostly use sms and little bits of data here and there. I needed to stay on the vodafone network as my family have free calls to other vodafone mobiles.

It is hard to find a good setup for a light user without ridiculous call rates. On this I can recharge as little as $10 and have it last for 90 days.

    • So, how much did the SIM cost?

Was/is there any [TPG-like] "deposit" (other than you choice of recharge amount)?

(I understand that TPG costs just over $57 to sign-up get it going.)

      • You buy a starter pack. I got the $10 one. It comes with $10 credit. One thing I'll say about that is if you want it quickly, go find a retail outlet with starter packs. It took over a week to get the sim card sent in the mail. I didn't mind because I needed to use up the credit on my old sim anyway.

also I got $5 bonus credit for porting my current number. And it says you get $2.50 bonus on each of your first two recharges
