      All the ones I have used have such severe inaccuracies and variable readings that it's safer NOT to use them.

  I was looking at these a while back and could not see any benefit on SMARTness of the device. So I ended up going with a basic Digital Xiaomi one which does the job for fraction of the price

    Smart devices may eventually leak personal data to places where you prefer it not end up. So if you like games of chance then this may be a good deal.

    Also, this one is a game changer and is the most precise possible so there's that.

  Please note this Withings Thermo does require its own App instead of HealthMate App which is what Withings Smartwatch, Withings Cardio Scale, Withings Blood Pressure use.

  Otherwise, I think this is good device.

  Been looking to get this.. Just for the novelty of it..

  There's a good review from a GP (first search result on Google). Basically.. The conclusion is that neither this nor the braun is highly accurate, but both give good indications. This one is good for people with children.

  But as per the last comment in the review:

  if your little one is unwell, then I think a temporal scanning thermometer can be quite a useful aid, but only if you can afford it – remember this is likely a device to remain in a cupboard, unused for most of the year!

  Bought one of this thermo 1-2 months ago on Amazon for $125.

  The build quality was very good and the most important thing was very accurate compared with the ear thermo, liked 0.2 degrees different.
