Nintendo will often contact them ahead of time, or Nintendo will have material ready to go out to businesses straight after announcing. Basically with all the info they need to post it for pre-orders/sales.

        thx captain

  • For those who prefer click & collect, just wait a few hours or so like with the Mario 3D All Stars and they'll add the option online.

  • Keep an eye out on Gamesmen too, likely it could drop to $63ish with the promocode from the Mario deal.

  • Nintendo is going hard towards the end of 2020.

    We need moar !!!

    • Don't worry. Nintendo are going hard. Still the Zelda 2 being talked about, but doubt it will come this year as I think they are conventrating on celebrating Mario.

      • With the talk of a Switch v2 coming early next year, I wold not be surprised if BotW 2 was tied to it in some way. ie needing the nextgen hardware / power / RAM of the updated device to work or be able to reach its visual potential.

        • Nintendo wouldn't dare lock out the 65 million switches already out there. it'd be like ps4 pro if they release better hardware. At least i hope so.

@Valowick: Most likely it'll be like the Twilight Princess or BotW where it'll be on both but some minor benefits on the new hardware.

I was always a little cut (can't tell can you) that BotW Sheika slate was clearly meant to work in a more integrated way with the Wii U controller but they changed it up to push it out the Switch with a 'common experience', making it really feel like the WiiU got a port of a switch game… I bet it would have played better with the WiiU dual screens.

Will need to save every day on pre-order, as you will need to buy day 1 story DLC.

    • What?

nephilim is referring to the ridiculous amount of DLC that was released for the original Hyrule Warriors. I'm hoping that this won't be the case for this game but it's unlikely given Koei Tecmo's track record (Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 being another recent example).

    • Only aware of the lucky ladle as dlc for physical buyers. Do you have source for that?

  • Heads up it's available for click and collect now from JB.

  • same price with Amazon as well, $69 free delivery with Prime
