    I got this message too, but just dismissed it. I have my paypal payment receipt but no email confirmation from yeelight.net.au yet. My 2 original yeelight RGBs have been great. See how the 1S goes, assuming they send them to me.

    All the prices I come across were all around $40~ I even the ones on Kogan are going for $55, I guess if there were recent sales this would have been cheaper

      Must of been something else. Google Yeelight rgb 1s. All results are under 40 and they are around 12 to 15 on AE when they have sales

  Be careful with all these LEDs out there.. Lots of damaging health problems caused by them.
  Opt for incandescent or halogen bulbs.

    I recently bought Mirabella Genio on Woolworths 1/2, they are worse than the Yeelight I have. They (Mirabella) are alright, but 1) colour is not as bright, 2) connection is not as reliable with Tuya smartlife (yes, they use Tuya platform so no need to use Genio app) and 3) they lack LAN control support, you will need to flash firmware. Yeelight now has firmware support for LAN control.

    Also I have never if ever seen Tuya smarthome stuff with firmware update. The Yeelight I have had at least 3 updates since I bought them in 2018.

        i've had 3 of the colour gen 2 (yldp06yl i think is the model number) running in lamps around the house for a cpl years on from about 5pm until midnight without issue, love them! This price is kinda the normal so not a deal but not a bad deal either :)

        Yes, Yeelight is better. Genio is cheaper though, last time the RGBW were $15 a bulb and they have Bayonet as well as ES. Yeelight is only available in ES.

          @Bigboomboom: Use ES —> Bayonet converter. That's what I do with no problems.
