  • Dough weight wise I think the kenwood chef has a greater amount for half the price

KitchenAid will last longer without needing repairs.

      Kenwood has more accessories available.

      Many things to consider really.

Both have 5 year warranty. I guess if you spent 929 you would want to repair not replace

What I'm saying is the KitchenAid is more durable and longer lasting. You are less likely to need to utilise that warranty, or have it repaired at your own cost outside of that 5 years.

          • @wintermadness: I don't think that's necessarily true without at least some sort of statistics to back you up.

@johnttt: Fair call. Unlikely to find any genuine return rate statistics from either manufacturer, but I work with machines from both, and the Kenwood repair rate (on current machines) is vastly higher.

Different motor watts. The one from kogan is 315w and the pro line is 500w

  • Both out of stock already.

EDIT: neither option in stock and available to ship to Melbourne. Other postcodes work.

  • I’ve got the smaller one, non-liftable bowl version. Running strong for 15 years now. To be fair: I only use it about 3-4 times a month. Never needed a repair. But this may look different for people using it more frequently.

  • I used mixers professionally . I looked at this model to have at home when I left the business. It is a pain to use. Very awkward compared to other stand mixers. To scrape the insides down You have to stop the mixer and lower it down. Too time consuming. I would advise against this model . The non stand mixer actually I more efficient
