I know Bunnings often come out with an equivalent hardware product to match Aldi's offers.
When do they release details of the offer (how many days before), and for how long do they make the equiv product available for (ie. Just the day of the offer, or the whole week).
Usually when Aldi is still offering

They normally price match as soon as the catalogue is released. So if they were going to reduce something it would already be reduced

I don't know about with Bunnings, but Aldi are usually the one who clones competitors staple products. Other brands spend decades making their brand recognizable and trusted by customers, then Aldi comes along and sells the same thing with a copied homework version of the package design.
It's more that Bunnings has an existing comparative product already in its range, and they often come out with an equivalent price to match Aldi's offers.

Aldi is selling Ferrex, Bunnings is selling Ozito. Similar specs, both are priced at $199.
I feel like the Bunnings had the Ozito saw at ~$340 previously, but there is no mention of a price drop… Not sure how to check if my memory is correct on this.
What do you reckon is better, Ozito or Ferrex?

I'd say both brands are average but getting support from bunnings is normally easier as they have it in stock all year round and often will swap a broken one with a new one off the shelf.
