Don't forget the lesser received sequels:
Command and Conquer 5: The College Years, and
Command and Conquer 6: Baby on Board! , and the weird crossover special
Command and Conquer 7: Baby Shark Edition

    • +1

Command and Conquer 8: Chronosphere Everything Tiberium Twilight.

    • Commander and Chief: Get down Mr President

  • Are there any known defects or issues running these on a Windows 10 pc with latest drivers?

    • +6

If you want the latest you should grab the remaster. It has been very well received

      • +5

Command & Conquer Gold (1996 Windows Edition)
Command & Conquer The Covert Operations
        Command & Conquer Red Alert
Command & Conquer Red Alert Counterstrike
Command & Conquer Red Alert The Aftermath

…are all covered in the Remaster (wait for its sale if not urgent), and hope C&C TS and RA2 also get a remaster - those titles are tricky to get running properly on modern PCs.

Thanks and yes forgot to add that. I do own it; very well built and recommended.
This one due to missing goldies such as generals / zh

Am I right to suspect cdkeys aren't a legit seller? /authorised reseller?

    • +2

Nope, they're fully legit. Bought heaps of stuff from them, they have been around for a while.

    • What makes you think that?
Have used them in past and has always been very good experience and no dodgy shit.

    • Hey mate, I can understand people's hesitations with CD key sites but CDkeys are legit in my years of experience with them. I once accidentally bought a key in the wrong region, they gave me a refund so damn fast after my email to them. Really impressive service and usually top prices. I've been using that site for years.

Can't wait for them to remake Yuri :D

  • I'm a bit confused. Is this the Command & Conquer™ Remastered Collection? I mean the 4K red alert?

    ====================

OK got it. This is not. But thanks OP.

That's alot of nostalgia, but I'm not sure if they're gonna be as fun now that I play them again lol.

You can play Tiberium sun for free in HD already via this mod

    https://www.moddb.com/mods/tiberian-sun-client

  • I've been playing YR and ZH with friends recently and the graphics are pretty good for games that are nearly twenty years old.

  • +2

I've seen this as part of the Humble Bundle a few years back and also it was free on Origin at one stage so no, probably not the cheapest price.

  • Initial Red Alert was good for that time period (90s). But, after StarCraft came along, I couldn't play Command & Conquer games anymore. Even AoE was more interesting.

  • +2

Just a warning… If you're anything like me you'll have nowhere near as much time to play this as you did when you were a kid. For the price though, probably still worth the purchase!

    • Lol, just bought it for nostalgia sake, had to wait for my 2 year to go to sleep before i could play. Tried red alert 2 skirmish (no online available) and tiberian twilight. All i can say is it was $5 but will i be playing anymore probably not..

Different time when i used to play rts games..Had to realise it for myself!!

  • Get this and you can also play online red alert 2 via cnc.net. there is also a way to get generals online but has way more steps

    • Thanks for the cnc net info, just might get me playing some RA2 online!

  • Price has changed to AU$7.39
