Logitech HERO G502 High Performance Gaming Mouse $67.99 + $9.99 Shipping @ Custom Rig Computers

130

G502 Gaming Mouse for a great price, cheaper than previously posted deals on this mouse from a Brisbane based business.

Tried OW Price Beat Guarantee - but agent on the phone apparently couldn't match the model number against their stocked item, and have never heard of Custom Rig Computers and did not believe it was 'real' website/business. You could try your luck with OW and maybe get a different agent.

My favourite gaming mouse I've owned to date, but also my first logitech G mouse (razer previously).

I do recommend (carefully) removing the braid off the wire - makes the mouse much lighter and easier to move without the rigid cable.

The best mouse I have ever owned. I have owned 1 mouse.

      • I've owned 7 razers including several Deathaders, Abyssus, Mamba, Naga. I feel that adds weight to my subjective anecdote but didnt think i needed to mention specifically. I was just trying to be clear it was my first Logitech G mouse.

        • You made a good decision. I haven't experienced the double-click issue as of yet - but if it were to happen to me, I wouldn't mind buying another G502. They're brilliant.

@jjsu: I havent experience any issue with the clicking eitther (had the mosue for 1 year now), and i find the software much better than razers.

Thanks for the tip, I've used/owned the Razer Mamba and used it almost exclusively as a wireless mouse. If having a cable is too much of a change for me, i'll try de-braiding the cable.

FYI the debraiding it could be easier to just buy a new aftermarket cable and put that in instead, took me about an hour to debraid the cable. I had some time to kill.

  • No Stock already ? Did they even had stock ?
or is it just marketing style

    • Not sure how much stock they had/held - as it doesn't really advertise on their website

It was all found through a quick google search, they look to be a small / locally based business might not hold a huge inventory.

They actually called me confirming my order and said they're delivering it tomorrow using their own courier.

        • I just got shipping information through email, as it's currently being sent through Auspost into Victoria can expect this in close to 3 weeks or longer.

The middle mouse button (clicking down) is completely horrible.
The free spin and rolling motion of the middle mouse wheel is fine though.

    • Wouldn't say it's horrible - but it's definitely not a "click" like other mice have. It's just a mushy depress.

    g402 is miles better.

    • appreciate your opinion, but can I get some explanation as to why you feel that way?

I originally had the G402 in mind as its cheaper shipped to my house against average G502 prices. But at the price above the deal was no-brainer in terms of extra features.

Have not used either mouse (yet!) and your post seems to indicate you have, so any insight would be beneficial.

      • I have both mice and I can not think of a single thing that the G402 is better at than the G502.
Don't get me wrong, they are both great mice, but the G502 feels like the G402 with more features to me.
I love changing tabs with a side ways flick of the scroll wheel button so much on the G502 that I still try to do it when I am using the G402.
So I think you will like G502 just fine.
There would have to be a fairly big price difference for me to buy a G402 over a G502 in the future.
